I'm back again with another DEJAPAN review, this time, a non-sponsored post about my personal experience using the shopping service! I often find that others have their worries about a service that is sponsored. There's often a stigma that the company may be providing the best quality service based solely on how the user will review them! While I've never encountered that myself, I do like to support the companies that I partner with. So today, I'm writing with my own purchases from Yahoo! JP Auctions, through DEJAPAN as my shopping service.

As a quick summary, a shopping service allows you to order items directly from Japan by buying them for you, usually for a small fee. DEJAPAN, on the other hand, charges no service fee and is extremely simple to use!

Disclaimer: Because I ordered through Yahoo! Auctions, I had to wait a certain amount of days for the bid to end, the seller to ship the item, and for it to arrive to the DEJAPAN warehouse. From there, I waited several more days until I was sure I wasn't going to be purchasing any more items before shipping my current order.

I was able to win the bid with nobody to outbid or raise the price! Lucky~? 🍀
Where I lucked out on that, I wasn't so lucky with the domestic shipping fee. From Miyagi Prefecture to Tokyo, the shipping cost was 600JPY, which brought it a bit over what I wanted to spend initially...but the piece was too lovely to resist. ;///;

While their newer pieces definitely have a bit more give to them, I still can't resist a good piece or two from their older collections! Look at how delicate the lace and pattern are, they pair perfectly with my Lauren Conrad top, 2012 Liz Lisa Ribbon heels, and some classic white knee highs! A perfect coordinate for a mild autumn evening.

Liz Lisa Paris Print Skirt, 131-4028-0

When I initially bid on this skirt, I actually had no idea it even HAD a Parisian themed print on it. From the image, all I could see were the abundant roses and that was apparently a selling point enough for myself! For the price I paid, I'm FAR more than pleased with the extra print...

 As you can (hardly) see, there are a few pulls in the underskirt, but none that I've noticed on the top layer itself. Again, for an item from such an older collection, it's in fantastic shape~

I decided to pair it with my off-the-shoulder top, 2012 Liz Lisa Ribbon pumps, and a lacy boater hat for that spring/summer appeal and signature Lulu style!

 Once again, it's wonderful to add such a lovely pattern to my wardrobe! I can see myself wearing this skirt with a great many styles!

♡ June 2nd: Both items had arrived at the warehouse by this point and I tried another bid or two, but was outbid

♡ June 13th: I consolidated my parcel and selected my packing option.

♡ June 14th: I received an email requesting my second payment, for shipping.  I selected and paid for my shipping method, combination, and packing fee.

♡ June 18-19th: My second payment was processed and I received an email that DEJAPAN had sent out my parcel! The email contained the item information, delivery method, tracking number, as well as where to track it.

♡ June 22nd: My parcel arrived at my door early in the morning. My mailman again called the number on the parcel to verify I'd be home, collected my signature, and delivered the envelope! ♡

Overall...

Just as before, I'm thrilled with the service from DEJAPAN. Despite this being an independent purchase, I had no problems with bidding or payments for won bids. With the bid I lost, the auction was displayed on my page so I was aware I wasn't charged for lost attempts. Consolidation and shipping were simple and my parcel arrived in perfect condition only a few days after I paid shipping. Thank you all for taking the time to read my entry and I hope this may have cleared any doubts you may have had using a shopping service or DEJAPAN in particular! Enjoy your shopping, lovelies~

Even during the most mild of winters, the chilly air can still nip at ones cheeks, drying out the skin. Flaky makeup, dry patches, and clogged pores result from worn out skin, makeup settling into crevices left exposed. Just as a flower with dry and withered petals, your skin can't possibly shine its brightest if it's tired, dirty, and weathered! Unfortunately, I tend to suffer with dry, sensitive skin that grows ever more irritated during the colder months. Even more unfortunate, I often tend to skip the extra, preventative steps in my daily skin care routine...

Unfortunately, a little of this product does not seem to go a long way. After using the conditioner a total of only three times, there's far less liquid in the bottle than I expected, especially with how difficult it is to get it out. The opening of the bottle is simply a small hole that leaks out one to two drops once shaken. I've found I have to shake it like a martini to get enough for a cotton wool ball! While this prevents accidentally spilling (perhaps a life saver for someone as accident prone as I am), it can be quite aggravating.

There are many reasons as to why moisturising is a necessity for healthy, happy, and glowing skin. Like water to a flower, we must nourish our skin that we so often forget is affected by every day factors: makeup, sweating after working out, even the air! I used to be under the pretense that one only needed to mosturise if there were obvious signs, such as rough patches. It wasn't until I noticed one day at work...my makeup was settling into my skin and flaking only in specific areas. I was certain the culprit was either my rather old primer or my rather cheap foundation until I noticed that even without either, the areas of my skin were still rough and flaking! I was horrified to say the least...

I couldn't bare to see my skin in such poor condition, especially something that overall I'm quite proud of! I drink predominantly water (with lemonade on the occasion), remove every visible ounce of makeup at night, and exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate! It never occurred to me that perhaps with all the cleaning, I was potentially making my skin too clean, or rather, scrubbing just a tad too much.
I immediately began to use the Organic Rose Skin Conditioner Gel at the first sign of dryness, first at nights, then as part of my morning routine as well! Within just three days, my skin felt back to normal, almost no roughness to show.

Much unlike the normal conditioner (or toner), just a dab of the conditioning gel goes quite a ways! The formula is a white lightweight, gel like cream that glides onto the skin in a (slippery) stroke. While drying, your face may feel a tad moist until it dries to a tacky finish. I'll admit it took some getting used to, making sure my hair or other unwanted objects didn't stick to my face...however, the results are most definitely worth a bit of stickiness! After just one overnight use, I woke up feeling fresh and moisturised, like the petals of a flower, and might I add smelling like them, too!💐

Recently, I've been toying around with the lotion as a primer, and while I'll keep to my VDL primer, it definitely yields decent results for a light makeup day or for when you're simply in a hurry. Overall, I find this moisturiser/lotion/cream/conditioning gel/whatever you may call it to be extremely kind to my dry, sensitive skin! Priced the same as the toner, at $12.99 for 90g, I find this to be a much better value for what it's worth and find it will last me quite some time ~ I personally have no qualms about it, the conditioner deserves full marks!
